The Rhein-Neckar-Arena, home of the German Bundesliga football team 1899 Hoffenheim and one of the venues of the Women´s World Cup 2011, is just a 10 minute walk away from the Auto & Technik MUSEUM SINSHEIM. The museum is looking forward to football fans from all over the world and invites all visitors of the Rhein-Neckar-Arena to also visit the museum at a reduced rate. Football fans showing a Rhein-Neckar-Arena ticket that is valid for the respective weekend (or at the day of the game) at the ticket office of the museum only pay the reduced rate for tour groups.
Being one of the largest private technology museums in Europe, the Auto & Technik MUSEUM SINSHEIM presents a huge collection of vintage cars, racing and sports cars, locomotives, motorcycles and much more. The highlights of the fascinating aircraft exhibition, and visible even from far distance, are the only two supersonic passenger aircraft ever built, the French / British Concorde and the Russian Tupolev Tu-144, both mounted in starting position on the museum roof and fully accessible for the visitors. The IMAX 3D movie theatre is also located on the premises of the museum. In this movie theatre of superlatives visitors can experience stunning 3D movies changing every hour on a gigantic screen with an area of almost 600 m2. Just a few minutes’ walk away from the museum and the Rhein-Neckar-Arena the 4* Hotel Sinsheim offers comfortable accommodation in a luxurious ambience.
The Auto & Technik MUSEUM SINSHEIM is opened year round from 9 am to 6 pm, on weekends and bank holidays until 7 pm. Just a five minutes’ walk away from the Rhein-Neckar-Arena sufficient parking places are available directly next to the museum.
