Musical organs

After 1930 more and more radios and record-players were replacing smaller mechanical musical organs. On the other hand, increasingly larger calliopes were created mainly for entertainment in dance halls and fair grounds. The largest calliope of the world, a Mortier, is equipped with more than 900 pipes, a saxophone, two accordions as well as complete set of percussion.
