BRM (British Racing Motors) was founded in 1947. It had its best results in the 1960s. In 1962, for instance, BRM with its driver Graham Hill not only won the drivers’ but also the constructors’ championship. Other well known BRM drivers were, besides others, Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, John Surtees and Niki Lauda. In the season 1974, when this car was used, the BRM drivers were Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Henri Pescalero.
