These tractors from the era before WW II were built by Hanomag. The tractor on top was built in 1931. It is powered by a 50 hp Diesel engine. During the war it moved airplanes of the German air force on airfields. Later it was used for farming and finally by the circus Sarrasani until 1993. The tractor below is from 1927. It is equipped with an 28 hp multi-fuel engine. The engine was started up with gasoline and then could be operated either with gasoline or petroleum. The pneumatic tires were fixed later on to the tractor when the advantages of pneumatic tires had become obvious.
