Mauser single-track car
As the weapons company Mauser was not permitted to produce any more armaments after the First World War, they tried their hand in the automobile industry, as well as in other areas. This is how the single-track car now on display in the Sinsheim Museum of Technology came about. It was produced in series from 1923 onwards. The single-track car is actually a motorcycle with two side wheels for support. The vehicle rested on four wheels when it was started up. The supporting wheels could be lifted up with a lever once sufficient speed had been reached.
