BMW R 62
Five years after the legendary R 32, two further BMW-models with 750 ccm-motors, the R 62 and the R 63, were launched in 1928. These bikes, which could also be equipped with sidecars, rapidly proved to be highly reliable touring- and long distance-motorcycles. Since factories, at that time, were already operating with progressive assembling, the price could be significantly reduced and the motorbike thus definitely became a vehicle for the masses.
