How to reach
Arrival by car
The Technik Museum Sinsheim is located directly on the A6 motorway (E50) between the cities of Mannheim and Heilbronn (southern Germany). Please take the Sinsheim-Süd motorway exit (No. 33b). From there, signs lead directly to us.
Parking
The Technik Museum Sinsheim offers numerous paid parking spaces directly on the museum grounds for:
- Cars
- Buses (minibuses to coaches)
- Vintage cars* (designated parking spaces in front of the main entrance / museum courtyard)
- Mobile homes or caravans can use parking lot P6 to park and stay overnight (no electricity and/or water connection is provided)
- Motorcycles park free of charge; motorcycles with sidecars should get an exit ticket at the cash desk
Note
Parking is free of charge in parking lots P1 – P4 and P6 up to 60 minutes after entry; in P5 up to 90 minutes. During this time, the barrier opens automatically.
Parking fee (day tickets, valid 24 hours after Entrance)
When entering, the license plate is recorded electronically. The parking fee can be paid at any time by entering your license plate:
- directly at the cash desk when purchasing a ticket
- at the ticket machine or
- with your smartphone by scanning the QR code
Members of the AUTO + TECHNIK MUSEUM SINSHEIM e.V. support association receive free parking tickets directly at the cash desk.
Classic cars*
Upon presentation of the vehicle registration document, classic car owners with an H license plate receive a free parking ticket directly at the cash desk. The vehicle registration document with the note H or classic car must be presented to the staff at the cash desk for verification.
Train / Public transportation
In direct vicinity of the museum, just a five minute walk from the main entrance, you can find the railway station “Sinsheim Museum / Arena”. The railway timetable assistant of the Deutsche Bahn will help you planning your journey to the museum by public transport.

The PreZero Arena (formerly Rhein-Neckar-Arena), home of 1899 Hoffenheim, is located right next to the Technik Museum Sinsheim and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot without worrying about parking. The Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim and the newly opened Klima-Arena are also located in the immediate vicinity of the museum.
