A highly extraordinary means of transportation is this mono-wheel-motorcycle, also known as unicycle, that was built by Erich Edison-Puton in Paris at the turn of the century. Although fully functional, the extravagant concept carried into effect in this model did not meet with acceptance and was soon forgotten. An original body as well as an original motor from Paris were used by the restorer Ferdinand Schlenker of Sexau to reconstruct the vehicle. The exhibit at the Museum is fully operational, as demonstrated in the video right above.
