Classic meets space
A wide variety of events have
taken place in our space hall:
Usually, German pop stars meet
Stormtroopers and the Model
Building Days participants
meet astronauts. But
sometimes it happens that
a whole orchestra is playing
underneath our Space Shuttle
Buran. The association
Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie
Rheinland-Pfalz gave
a breathtaking concert
under the direction of chief
conductor Michael Francis -
amidst technical rarities a very
special atmosphere. For one hour,
the listeners were in a completely
different world - far away from
the galaxy. Since the concert
could not take place in front
of an audience, it was broadcast
via livestream.
